We have a deal: Implications of the UK’s departure from the EU for charitable foundations

Together with the Brexit Funders Group, this event will explore the raminifcations of our departure from the EU for funders and wider civil society. It will also create a space to consider longer-term implications for British politics and for the future of the UK. We will be joined by a panel of foundation representatives, including Lauri McCusker, Director of the Fermanagh Trust, chaired by Andrew Barnett, Director of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation UK Branch. We will also hear from Carlos Moedas, Trustee at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation previously serving as European Commissioner, and Anand Menon, Director of The UK in a Changing Europe, professor of European politics and foreign affairs at King’s College London, and a regular commentator and columnist on Brexit.
