The core responsibility of this role is to manage the Trust’s day-to-day operations, including grant-making. We keep our systems light touch and professional, in line with our values. There is also scope to get involved in any aspect of the Trust’s work. The position could be a great entry point into the world of grant-making and philanthropy.
The vacancy has arisen as our long-standing colleague is retiring from the Trust in May 2021. By the end of 2021, we expect to identify goals for the Trust over the next ten year period. After that, we will determine our staffing requirements for the future. This position may become a permanent role at that point.
The Trust currently only employs two staff: the Director and this Trust Manager role. The role will involve working closely with the Director on all areas of the Trust’s work.
