We are a charity, bank and a champion for better giving and for over 90 years we have been helping donors, companies and charities make a bigger impact. Our independence, expertise and reach mean we are uniquely placed to do this. CAF Grant Making is a unique service. We deliver a range of both domestic and international grant making programmes on behalf of clients. We offer an end to end service that includes comprehensive advisory, online grant making facilities, reporting, monitoring, impact measurement alongside first class due diligence and validation.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead our grant making team through its next period of development. Ideally, we are seeking someone with senior grant making experience but will consider similar relevant experience. The main focus of this role will be on delivering the operational aspects of our grant making, with excellence, so all of our clients make an impact with their giving - but you will also contribute to business development and programme design, with a role to play in the growth of our grant making business. This role will be an opportunity to build partnerships with major trusts and foundations, companies and philanthropists and have an impact across the whole sector.

In addition, financial acumen, experience of working with social purpose organisations and the ability to inspire clients with their grant making is key. The ideal candidate will also be required to have experience of Blackbaud Grant Making and/ or bespoke IT systems. An ability to manage and motivate small teams is also crucial. You must also be a great team player who performs well under pressure and is confident enough to contribute your knowledge and ideas to this work.

The successful candidate will be familiar with a process driven operation and have experience of uniting their team to deliver a high quality service to their clients whilst forging strong internal and external relationships to do so.
