About the Eranda Rothschild Foundation
Founded by Sir Evelyn de Rothschild in 1967, the Eranda Rothschild Foundation is a UK registered charitable trust making donations to registered charities working in the fields of medical research, education and the arts.
The Foundation receives approximately 1,000 application each year and its total grant-making is in excess of £2m per annum.
About the role
The position of the Secretary to the Trustees is central and the postholder will be responsible for the efficient operation of this grant-making charity from receipt of initial enquiry and grant application, to the processing and selection of grant applications to the decision-making high-profile Trustee Board and the post meeting management and monitoring of grants made.
The Secretary to the Trustees should have substantial administrative experience gained in a philanthropic/charitable environment, ideally having worked for a family foundation. The role requires the postholder to be self-motivated and comfortable working on their own.
