Research and Evaluation Manager

Our evidence and learning function is important in helping the Foundation and the organisations we support to work effectively, improve what we do and to understand and secure impact in our priority areas.
We are recruiting an experienced Research and Evaluation Manager to join the Foundation’s Evidence and Learning Team, reporting to the Director, Evidence and Learning. This role offers the opportunity to help to develop and refine existing systems and processes for evidence and knowledge; contribute to a culture of organisational learning and to work closely with colleagues across the organisation and externally on a range of projects in support of the Foundation’s work
You will help the Foundation to use evaluation and research to learn more about the effectiveness of its work and to understand and improve its impact. You will also work with grantees and other partners to support them in learning about and developing their work.
You will be someone who wants to make a difference through the use of evidence. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills Experience in planning, design, implementation and management of evaluation and research projects is essential as are the skills required to work co-operatively with a range of people.
We are looking for someone with good organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work flexibility in a changing environment.
