We are looking for a Programme Officer to assist to assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Berkeley Foundation projects, in order to help the Foundation achieve its aims and objectives.

This role is an essential one for the Berkeley Foundation. You will be the first point of contact for grant applications to the Foundation, managing and assessing their applications and providing initial recommendations to the Grants Programme Manager. As part of this you will be responsible for overseeing our applications database, ensuring it is maintained and updated as required. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a full spectrum of programme activities: assisting with the delivery of events and seminars, managing a small portfolio of charity partnerships, inspiring Berkeley colleagues to get involved with the Foundation’s work, and carrying out research into issues facing young people in London and the South of England.

The Berkeley Foundation is a charitable foundation launched by the Berkeley Group in 2011. We work to improve the lives of young people, their families and communities, throughout London and the South of England. In our first six years we have donated or committed more than £12m to over 100 charities and worthy causes, helping to tackle some of the big social issues facing our society.
