Programme Manager (Grants)
The Programme Manager will work with the CEO and Board to develop and manage the contribution of the Trust's grants programme to the overall strategy, including Trust’s democracy priorities, rapid response, ‘legacy’ and capacity building work. This will primarily involve assessing a wide range of grant applications and managing a portfolio of active grants.
The role will also provide support for the Trust initiated activities including research, polling, events, party conference fringes and convening.
The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to design, implement and manage an ambitious grant-making programme. S/he will have a track record achieving change through campaigning or policy change, as part of a campaigning organisation or grant-making Trust. Excellent writing and analytical skills are essential as is a sound grasp of the UK political context and system, and a collaborative approach with experience of building partnerships.
