1. Manage foundation governance (20%)

  • Ensure effective and responsible management of the foundation’s funds in line with budget approved by the Board
  • Comply with all Dutch charity regulations and annual reporting requirements
  • Create and maintain appropriate policies and processes for the smooth running of the foundation
  • Recruit and manage additional foundation staff if necessary

2. Support the foundation board (10%)

  • Organise and lead quarterly foundation board meetings
  • Develop, recommend and implement strategic and annual business plans with board agreement
  • Report on progress against plan and make recommendations for improvements 

3. Grant relationships (40%)

  • Research and recommend relevant and high quality partners and projects
  • Manage partner relationships once grant awarded
  • Develop and implement appropriate and consistent measures of performance for all grants

4. Engagement (15%)

  • Communicate foundation activities to all internal and external stakeholders (tcc global employees, customers and partners)
  • Manage matched giving programme for tcc global employees

5. Fundraising (15%)

  • Manage the foundation’s relationship with our donor, tcc global
  • Facilitate and inspire tcc global employee fundraising activities
  • Develop and support foundation fundraising mechanisms through tcc global customer marketing campaigns

  • Skills & Experiences
  • Resilient, flexible and well organised self-starter who enjoys working autonomously
  • Proven influencing skills at board level
  • Significant experience of developing and delivering strategic priorities
  • At least five years’ experience managing grant partnerships in the humanitarian, development or education sectors
  • Experience of working in or with a corporate business. A great candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally in a business environment to influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Line management experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting to large, senior audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess performance and identify improvements
  • Willing to travel overseas up to 6 weeks per year to visit projects and represent the foundation at tcc events


  • Ideally experience working in one or more of our pillars: healthy eating, humanitarian relief or food security
  • Knowledge of Dutch charity governance requirements
  • Financial management experience
