Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is one of the leading community grant makers. An independent registered charity funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group as part of the Group’s commitment to Helping Britain Prosper, the Foundation invests in hundreds of small and local charities on the frontline of tackling disadvantage.

We are seeking a Director of Development to lead a brand new team to tackle the central challenge faced by those we support: with income falling yet demand rising, how can charities thrive, not just survive?

As our new Director you will create a new sustainable support model for small charities in 21st century post-Brexit austerity UK. You’ll be a ground breaker with an innovative and creative mindset, but you’ll also be a deliverer. You will be able to translate vision into appropriate ‘local’ action, road testing great ideas and moving them from concept, to pilot, to execution and leverage at scale. You’ll also be a great leader of people, inspiring and galvanising a geographically dispersed team to deliver high standards and understanding the importance of ownership and engagement to effective delivery in value driven organisations.

You won’t necessarily be from a third sector background but you’ll share our passion and ambition to break disadvantage and make a lasting impact on the voluntary sector today.
