Help the Homeless is a small grant making charity that provides grants to charities with a remit of helping the homeless back into mainstream society.

The trustees are seeking a Secretary to replace the existing incumbent who is retiring.

Duties include grants administration and preparing papers for the board meetings held four times a year and an AGM, liaising with the Accountants ensuring that our annual accounts and statutory returns are completed on a timely basis. There will also be a small amount of general administration work too.

The projected time commitment is around half a day per week with additional time required whilst preparing for Board meetings which you will also attend to take minutes.

The position would suit someone with experience within a grant-making charity.
