We are looking for a senior project manager with significant experience of brand management.

Guy’s and St Thomas Charity is currently undertaking a reconfiguration of its portfolio of brands following a strategic review.  This includes creation of five new brands, proposition development, testing and implementation. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced brand professional to project manage the final stages of creative development and drive through implementation of these brands through a phased launch.

This will involve management of a broad spectrum of work including stakeholder communications, staff engagement and alignment with a parallel digital transformation programme.  

Working closely with the Head of Communications and Directors of Communications (job share), you will lead the development and day-to-day delivery of the implementation plan – working with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, across multiple sites and departments.

This is a transformational programme of work for the Charity which aims to create clear and compelling brands that connect with target audiences.  This is a really exciting time to join as we gather momentum towards launch.  This role is essential in helping us maximise on the significant potential of this work by driving through effective implementation.

Key accountabilities:

  • Plan and manage the implementation of five new brands, in line with the brand strategy.
  • Manage multiple agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage new audience segmentation to define key audiences and personas
  • Plan and deliver staff engagement activity e.g. workshops, briefings
  • Commission and deliver brand collateral

Reporting to: Head of Communications 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the implementation of five new brands, in line with the brand strategy.
  • Develop and deliver an internal communications and engagement plan, keeping staff updated and engaged.
  • Oversee the delivery of the external stakeholder communications plan, ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with timely and relevant briefings.
  • Lead an internal brand audit and develop a phased plan to develop and deliver on and offline assets.
  • Lead the production of brand briefs, tenders and procurement of design agencies if needed.
  • Ensure all project management documentation is in place and regularly updated.
  • Regularly monitor and report on progress against the plan, budget and risks.
  • Manage multiple agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage new audience segmentation to define key audiences and personas.
  • Audit current brand assets including marketing materials and onsite branding across hospital sites.
  • Work closely with the Digital Programme Director to ensure the brands are effectively translated into digital channels.
  • Establish monitoring and measurement framework to monitor impact long term.

Education, experience and skills

  • Significant experience of working brand and communications.
  • Experience of managing multiple complex projects to time and within budget.
  • Experience of leading brand development projects.
  • Excellent relationship management, including external agencies.
  • Experience of project management with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of audience segmentation.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising brands.
