Carol is responsible to the board for the leadership and management of ACF, and for ACF’s external relations. Carol leads on the delivery of all of ACF’s strategic objectives, ensuring that ACF strengthens and supports foundations to aspire to and achieve excellent practice so they can rise to the challenges of our times. Nysa Pradhan, chief operating officer

Nysa leads ACF’s operations, driving organisational effectiveness, financial resilience, and member-focused delivery. Working closely with the CEO and board, she oversees aspects of membership, income, marketing, and brand, alongside finance, people, digital, and governance. She strengthens systems and ways of working to enable impact, embedding inclusive, values-led leadership across ACF’s work and supporting its next phase of development. [email protected]

 

Catherine Seymour, director of policy and programmes

Catherine leads ACF's member offer and thought leadership, shaping policy, research and programmes to strengthen foundation practice and advocate for an enabling regulatory environment. Her portfolio spans policy intelligence, excellence frameworks, member resources, networks and events. She works with ACF's members and stakeholders to catalyse change in foundation practice and demonstrate the incredible contribution of foundations to social good. [email protected]

 

Francesca de Munnich, head of policy and communications

Francesca leads ACF's policy work, strengthening foundations’ collective voice and the environment in which they operate. She also oversees ACF's communications, shaping high-quality content that informs members and deepens understanding of foundations among external audiences. [email protected]

 

Gemma Cartwright, head of investment practice and partnerships

Gemma leads ACF’s investment practice and partnerships programme, including activity related to the Stronger Foundations investment strand, the Social Impact Investors Group (SIIG), and sharing expertise from ACF’s Official Partners and Corporate partners with members. [email protected]

Jane Gilchrist, head of people

Jane leads ACF's HR function which covers recruitment, selection and onboarding, learning and development, policy development, employee wellbeing and engagement and employee relations. [email protected]

 

Jim Cooke, head of practice and learning

Jim leads ACF’s work supporting foundations to aspire to and achieve excellent practice. This includes overseeing the evolution of our Stronger Foundations framework, ensuring this takes account of the latest context and emerging practice. Jim also oversees the development of practical tools, resources and learning programmes for foundations. [email protected]

 

Natasha Kousseff, head of finance and operations

Natasha leads ACF's finance function, providing financial support to the wider team and board to enable decision-making and planning. She also supports wider operations functions and governance, including as ACF's company secretary. Natasha's role helps ensure that ACF is financially and operationally healthy and compliant, and is sustainable in supporting members over the long term. [email protected]

 

Natasha Robinson, head of membership

Natasha is responsible for managing the recruitment, engagement and retention of ACF’s members, and ensuring membership thrives and is commercially sustainable, in line with our strategic objectives. She also has a focus on ensuring members receive a compelling membership offer. [email protected]

 

Freya Hook, senior digital and data manager

Freya is responsible for ACF’s data strategy and digital infrastructure and user experience. Freya’s role ensures ACF has the right tools and capabilities to operate efficiently and effectively, as well as the continuous improvement of ACF's digital platforms and user journeys. Katie Bower, senior events manager (currently on maternity leave)

Katie leads on the planning, scheduling and delivery of ACF’s events programme. This includes ACF networks and their online communities, the training and learning programme, roundtables and forums, conferences and other emerging development opportunities. Trevor Horsewood, senior learning manager

Trevor leads the development of ACF's learning programme, designing practical resources and learning opportunities that support excellent foundation practice. He also manages a portfolio of member networks, helping ensure ACF’s learning offer reflects member needs. [email protected]

 

Rachel Heydecker, practice manager (currently on maternity leave) 

Rachel has a key role in maintaining ACF’s understanding of current foundation practice and the contexts in which foundations are working. Sherri Hoppen, senior communications and content officer

Sherri delivers regular marketing and communications activities that build ACF’s brand, reach and impact across its platforms and channels. She is responsible for preparing email communications, managing website content and overseeing ACF's social media channels. She also supports the head of policy and communications with strategic content planning and delivery. [email protected]

 

Emma Pearce, membership and operations officer

Emma provides outstanding customer service to ACF's members and administrative support across the team. She is the first point of contact for members and other enquiries, enhancing member satisfaction and ensuring smooth day-to-day membership operations. [email protected]

 

Jumi Sekoni, events and learning officer

Jumi leads the pre-event planning and delivery of all ACF’s network meetings, professional development programme and other ad hoc events. She is responsible for liaising with speakers, facilitators and convenors, as well as assisting participants and members with event-related enquiries. Rachel Khan, practice officer

Rachel supports the Funders Collaborative Hub, enabling current and potential collaboration leaders to share their opportunities and events. She also gathers insights and examples of Stronger Foundations practice, and supports the review and development of ACF’s practice resources. [email protected]

Rita is responsible for the day-to-day administration of ACF’s finance function, and also supports ACF’s HR and office management.
