The Director will lead the Foundation’s work, acting as an ambassador, ensuring strategic grant giving is effective and in line with our priorities and supporting the Trustees in fulfilling their governance and legal obligations.

Job Description
Leading a small team, this role has a wide range of responsibilities from reviewing our grants and meeting with prospective grantees to administrating the grants scheme and reporting to the Board of Trustees. The Director will also build and maintain positive relationships across a broad stakeholder group. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and inspiring leader with strategic experience at Director or CEO level within the voluntary sector and a track record of working closely with a Board. With experience of leading a staff team, you will also bring strong financial literacy, analytical skills and general business acumen to make sound judgements on projects, grant making and financial management. Experience of grant assessment and grant giving is highly desirable. Crucially you will bring a passion for the transformative ability of grant making for the people we support and an empathy for those facing disadvantage.
Location
Reigate Surrey – flexible working, plus UK wide travel
Remuneration
Circa £70,000 pro rata for 3 days per week
