Job Description
This is a high-impact role for individuals keen on working at the forefront of decarbonisation efforts in the UK and contributing their skills and experience to overcoming the many practical challenges of making net-zero emissions a reality. The successful candidate should be able to offer strategic and tactical advice and support to the foundation and its trading company. We are looking for individuals with a professional background in one or more of the following areas: institutional fundraising, charity governance, innovation in scaling up a sector (non-technical) and advocacy around policy change. Key Skills Essential ● Strong interest in issues of decarbonisation and energy transition ● Proven ability to operate at a strategic level ● Experience at Board level at private firms, public sector and/or charitable organisations ● Availability to serve on Charity Board for at least 1 term (3 years) ● Skills and background in one or more of the following areas: - Fundraising from large Foundations and/or public/private sectors - Innovation in scaling up a sector (non technical) - Charity governance, particularly for charities with subsidiaries and a web of partnerships with government, private sector and other civil society organisations. - Advocacy, policy and external affairs Desirable ● Experience in organisations with a strong public service or mission based orientation ● Availability to also represent Charity on Company Board for at least 1 term (3 years)

Remuneration
This is a voluntary role and travel expenses will be reimbursed
