ACF's climate change learning: decarbonising operations

In recognising the urgency of the climate emergency, many funders have begun to take ambitious action to minimise the carbon footprint of their own operations.

While the direct carbon footprint of most foundations will be small relative to the impact they can have through grants and investment choices, it is important and empowering to get our own house in order.

Join ACF to hear from Global Greengrants UK and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation - two signatories of the Funder Commitment on Climate Change - on how their foundations have approached decarbonising operations. We will also hear from Planet Mark about their carbon measurement and reduction certification, as well as some COP26 reflections.

There will be opportunities for those attending to share their questions and further their learning on how the funding community can respond to this challenge. This event is part of ACF's learning stream on climate.

This event will be held online. It is free for ACF members and £60 for non-members. Non-member who is signatory to the Funder Commitment on Climate Change are also eligible to attend for free. If you are signatory to the Funder Commitment, please get in touch with [email protected] to book your free place.
