Collaborating in response to climate change

Hear from existing climate funder collaborations, meet fellow funders from across the UK and explore potential new areas of collaborative work in response to climate change.

What could you imagine being achieved by working with other funders on climate change?

ACF’s recent Funder Commitment on Climate Change progress report revealed a desire from funders to achieve more in addressing climate change by working together. Funder collaboration opportunities can range from sharing learning across organisations, to more collective thinking and joined-up work, or pooling funds around specific causes and responses.

Join us to meet fellow funders from across the UK who recognise the urgency of climate change. If you want to understand the collaboration opportunities that already exist in relation the topic and explore potential new collaborations, this event is for you.

You will have the opportunity to hear from several existing climate collaboration listed on the Funders Collaborative Hub, including the Carbon Innovation Fund, the LGBTQI Climate Fund, and the Environmental Philanthropy Lab. We will then hold space for you to develop and articulate your own climate collaboration idea, no matter how nascent it might be, using your funding peers as a sounding board and taking inspiration from each other's work and approaches.

Speakers:

Aruna Bahia, Funding and Partnerships Manager at Co-op Foundation (Carbon Innovation Fund)
Lee Dibben, Special Focus Funds Consultant at GiveOut (LGBTQI Climate Fund)
Hannah Temple, Founder at TealCo (environmental Philanthropy Lab)
