SIIG: introduction to legal issues in social investment

Introducing a range of social investments including loans, funds and equity, as well as setting up new structures, such as the Fair for You perpetual bond.

Hazel Peck (Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation/Big Society Capital) will look at the issues that arise when an organisation is making a range of social investments. The session will also cover how foundations set up new structures with Ben Smith (Esmée Fairbairn Foundation) on the Fair For You perpetual bond structure.  This event will be in person with an option to attend virtually.

For those at an early stage of their social investment journey, no legal knowledge required!
