Members' Policy Forum - Foundations and inflation

Inflation seems set to be with us for some time yet with impacts on people, grantees and funders themselves. This Members’ Policy Forum event will hear from speakers talking about the impact of inflation and the cost of living, while providing an opportunity for members to discuss their approaches to this issue

Fed by pent up demand and bottlenecks in supply, and then with further dislocation caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, inflation seems set to be with us for some time yet with impacts on people, grantees and funders themselves. ACF is working out how we can help foundations respond to this. As part of this work, we are holding this Members’ Policy Forum meeting to open a space for discussion with members.

Hear about the impact of inflation and the cost of living from:

  • Polly Trenow (interim director of programme and partnerships) and Jackie Brett (head of head of local programmes) from Turn2Us
  • Richard Sagar (head of policy) from the Charity Finance Group
  • Jamie O’Halloran (economist) from Pro Bono Economics

The event will also provide an opportunity for members to discuss their approaches to this issue.

ACF’s director of external affairs, Rick Hebditch, has written a blog on the topic which you can read here.

Date: 16 August 2022

Time: 10am - 11.30am

This event will be held online. A Zoom link will be sent 48 hours before.
