Access to fair finance in the cost of living crisis

Join us to find out more about the role of social impact investors in enabling access to fair finance and affordable credit, how it came about, its purpose, how it works and due diligence processes in its delivery - especially during the current cost of living crisis.

This session will explore affordable credit; how it came to exist; how it works; the risks and due diligence processes and reflect on case studies and opportunities in the space. We will cover what CDFIs and credit unions are, their main difference and needs, what affordable credit is, the different products out there and what to look out for.

There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and meet others wondering what this space looks like and how they might get involved as a social investor. We’re excited to be joined by our speakers who have a wealth of experience in this field.

Speakers:

  •  Niamh Goggin, Director, Small Change & Social investment & financial inclusion consultant
  • Theodora Hadjimichael, Chief Executive, Responsible Finance
  • Craig Pennington, Senior Investment Manager, Fair4All Finance
