Children & young people network meeting

Come along to hear from members of National Lottery community fund’s Youth Voice Teams, 16-25yr olds, about their experiences of embedding Youth Voice within the organisation.



Speakers:
Head of youth Voice Joe Rich will Chair the event in order to answer any questions around the successes and challenges faced by the Fund in their journey so far.

Youth Voice team Wales will share their experiences of developing the £10million Mind our Future Fund from Peer research to design to decision making

Youth Voice team England 2022 will share some of their experiences to date and their top tips for assessments questions based on priorities established by the #iWill Youth Led peer researchers

Bel Crewe, Impact Manager, Children in Need
Bel has worked in the voluntary sector over thirty years in Wales, Oxford and London. Her paid and voluntary trustee roles have focussed around project and income development for Charities focussing on services for children and young people and community support. She was with the Big Lottery Fund in Wales for six years managing the Awards for All programme, People and Places and developing new strategic programmes. Bel has a MSc in Public Policy and Management focussing her dissertation on the impact of commissioning on violence against women in girls small specialist organisations in London.  Bel has been with BBC Children in Need for five years and is the Impact Manager leading a team that focusses on funding great children and young people organisations in Greater London.


Steph Taylor, Strategy and Programmes Director, Give Bradford and Leeds Community Foundation
Steph is Deputy CEO at Leeds Community Foundation and Director of GiveBradford. She has worked in the charity and public sectors for 20 years, focused on changing the systems that drive inequality and centring the value of lived experience. She has a strong understanding of governance, business development and fundraising, strategy and impact. Steph is a qualified careers adviser and youth worker, has an MBA, and is a fellow of Windsor Leadership.
