Foundation Giving Trends

Join us for the ACF's Foundation Giving Trends drinks reception 2022.

The Foundation Giving Trends series of reports presents annual research and analysis on trends in the giving, spending, income and assets of the largest philanthropically-funded foundations in the UK. This event is a chance to find out what the findings might mean for foundations – and to meet colleagues from the sector in person for the first time since the latest Covid restrictions. You can also find out how your foundation compares with other foundations in the top 350 foundations.

2021's report focuses on the 2019/2020 accounts. The Foundation Giving Trends 2021 was published in December 2021 and shows foundations’ financial position going into the Covid pandemic and their immediate responses to the emergency. The research Foundation Giving Trends is kindly supported by Pears Foundation.

This event will be a discussion with an expert panel followed by a drinks reception where you can meet colleagues from other foundations. It is the first ACF in person event since March 2020. We are constantly reviewing government guidelines and your safety as participants is paramount to us. Details on our risk assessment will be shared with our joining instructions, a few days before the event.

Speakers will discuss what Foundation Giving Trends tells us about the state of the foundation sector through the Covid pandemic and now coming out of it; and where it might be going over next five years.

The event is open to ACF members and invited foundations and we are grateful to our official partner Ruffer for hosting the event, which will take place at their offices at 80 Victoria Street; London; SW1E 5JL.
