The Dulverton Trust - Director recruitment
The Dulverton Trust is an independent Grant-Making Charitable Trust which provides support for a wide range of charities.
A vacancy will arise on the retirement of the current Director in May 2010. The Director’s responsibilities include the selection of grant applications for consideration by Trustees, making recommendations on policy and practice, the leadership of a small staff team, and the efficient management of the Trust’s resources. Though based in London, the duties will include visits to applicant charities.
Candidates should be educated to degree level and must have a proven track record of leadership, and experience in the charitable sector, including knowledge of charity law and governance. They must also have excellent diplomatic and communication skills as well as financial acumen. This is intended to be a long-term appointment requiring a high degree of dedication and offering flexibility over working hours.
An attractive salary and benefits package will be offered subject to negotiations.
