Internship for Events Administrator
ACF is looking for an intern with excellent organisational skills to work on placement for 3 – 4 months depending on availability, for 2 days per week, to assist with the planning and running of two conferences for grant-making organisations in the UK.
The Woburn Place Collaborative (WPC) Colloquium will be held on 21st October 2009 at BMA House in WC1. WPC is a group of 19 foundations with a collective mission to promote social justice. This year’s Colloquium will be their second annual conference.
The ACF Conference will be held on 22nd October 2009, also at BMA House in WC1. This is the premier networking and experience sharing event for grant-makers in the UK and we expect 250 to 300 delegates to attend the event.
The internship offers the successful candidate excellent experience of event planning and management. They will be supporting experienced event planners and will gain an insight into the world of grant-making and social justice collaboration in the UK.
The internship will end with the events in October 2009. This is an unpaid volunteering opportunity for 2 days per week. Travel and lunch expenses to the value of £10 per day will be paid by ACF subject to the production of receipts. The closing date for all applications is Monday 15 June.
