Thorny Questions, Fruitful Answers: foundations meeting contemporary challenges
26 June 2008 and 27 June 2008, University of Nottingham Conference Centre
Our two day conference will refresh, inspire and invigorate you. Challenging plenaries will explore some of the major issues facing the world today, while a wide range of breakout sessions will consider a host of different topics relevant to the work of foundations and grant-making trusts. Plenary: Whereas climate change affects us all, equality still eludes too many. Patrick Diamond, Director of Policy and Strategy for the Commission for Equalities and Human Rights, reviews current and future symptoms and causes of inequality in the UK.
