The aim of this meeting is to explore opportunities for funders to fund digital innovation as a way to tackle social issues. The meeting will be comprised of two parts. The morning session will feature presentations from CAST, Comic Relief and Techfugees. It will include an overview of the potential uses of social technology as well as exploring opportunities and barriers of using tech and digital innovation specifically in the refugee and migration sector. Comic Relief will also share their experience of developing a Tech for Good funding programme, with a chance for participants to discuss the role foundations can play in supporting this kind of work. Part two of the meeting will be a facilitated session, providing space for members to reflect on the future direction of the ARM Network.
