Some of our events are available to foundations and grant-makers who are not ACF members. These include occasional seminars on policy and practice issues and our Professional Development Programme. 2010 Professional Development Programme
ACF's Professional Development Programme is a series of events for foundations and grant-makers who want to develop their practice. Drawing on the knowledge and experience of grant-makers, each module gives practical help and advice on the technical and procedural aspects of grant-making. This year there are new seminars with the themes of communication and innovation in grant-making alongside seminars looking at the essentials of programme development, monitoring and evaluation, and understanding financial information to name only a few .

Events Terms and Conditions: Spaces on many of our seminars are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Conversely if there are insufficient numbers a month before an event is due to run, we may have to cancel and we cannot then re-instate the event even if later bookings arrive. Details for each event are correct at the time of going to print. However sometimes we have to make changes to the published programme and we will do this by publicising the changes on this website.
The price of each event includes the cost of lunch and /or other light refreshments.
Please Note: that payment can only be made by cheque (for non members). ACF members please login to the members' area to view all events and payment options.
Events Refund Policy: Full refunds will be given for cancellations received a week or more before the event. For cancellations received within a week of the event, no refunds will be made. Full refunds of seminar fees will be given if ACF has to cancel the event due to insufficient numbers or other reasons, but we regret we cannot be responsible for any additional expenditure incurred.
