The Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a £7 million fund managed by Nesta on behalf of our partners the Arts Council England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The Fund supports collaboration between organisations with arts projects, technology providers and researchers, focusing on projects that use digital technology to enhance audience reach and / or develop new business models.
You’ll work to ensure that funded projects are managed as smoothly as possible, supporting the dissemination of learning within the cohort and the wider sector. You’ll ensure each project is underpinned by an effective research and data strategy, monitor and report on progress, and act as a point of contact for enquiries. You’ll also maintain a strong knowledge of the use of technology in the culture sector and provide wide-ranging support, including around the organisation of external events.
An experienced project manager with a successful track record in grants management within the public sector or private trusts and foundations, you must also have a strong interest in the arts, creative and / or technology sectors. You must have a good working knowledge of evidence-based grants payments processes, excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Outstanding attention to detail is also essential.
