Director of Charitable Services

Sons & Friends of the Clergy

Salary c.£60,000

Application deadline 13 October 2017

Sons & Friends of the Clergy is a charity that supports Anglican clergy and their families in times of poverty, hardship or illness. We’re now at an exciting point in our history and are stepping up an ambitious programme of modernisation which will see our work have greater impact on our beneficiaries. As Director of Charitable Services, you will take the lead across all our grant-making and other charitable activities, reviewing our approach for reach and impact. You will work with the Chief Executive and a small grants team, as well as trustees, to develop our services for the future, so we can better serve our beneficiaries in the context of changing need. Our aim is to move from being a pure grant-making charity to being an organisation that adopts a holistic and proactive approach to the wellbeing of clergy families.
